Zakat 2025 Recipient Registration

Complete this form if you are a trans or nonbinary Muslim and you believe you are eligible to receive zakat this year. You are welcome to share this form with other trans Muslims, but please DO NOT SHARE THIS FORM PUBLICLY.

Who is eligible to be a recipient: Only trans and nonbinary Muslims are eligible recipients through this project. We are not verifying eligibility, trusting that individuals know their own circumstances and that trans and non-binary Muslims recognize and honor the sacred responsibility of zakat.

How it works: Recipients complete this form by the end of Monday, April 14. At the end of April, we will begin the process of sending funds to recipients. We will equally divide the amount received among all recipients. Volunteers will then transfer funds to recipients using various means (e.g. Venmo, PayPal, etc.). We expect all funds to be disbursed within 30 days.

Please note: It may recipients do not submit all the information we need to send payments and/or do not respond to requests for that information.

You will not need to register again until Ramadan 2026. 

Since this project is intended to result in a one-time donation for a specific purpose, we are unable to consider follow-up requests. We also ask that recipients respect the privacy of those volunteers who may use their own payment accounts to transfer funds. 

Due to our late start this year, the deadline for registering as a recipient is Monday, April 14.
